What changes as wattage climbs isn’t whether a charger has protection circuitry, but how much power that circuitry is managing. For everyday buying decisions, this means you shouldn’t assume a compact or budget-friendly charger is cutting corners on safety while a bigger, pricier one is somehow “safer.” Check the listed protections on the specific product rather than judging by price or size alone – in this lineup, both the Rs. 4,159 mini charger and the Rs. 40,533 desktop charger list the same four core protections.
